Combat Archery At World Of Football Corn Exchange
Combat Archery is a hybrid of Paintball, Archery and Dodgeball - elements of each sport are combined allowing you a brand new experience - each player is given their own face mask, arm guard, arrows, a bow and the necessary training to ultimately bring your opponents to their knees!
It’s the latest craze to sweep the nation - pick up a bow, grab an arrow, and battle! Harness your inner Robin Hood, Katniss Everdeen or Legolas and enjoy dodging, taking aim and firing at your friends! The rules are simple, hit the opposing team without getting hit yourself!
The two teams, five each side are separated by a dead zone. When the whistle goes it’s a race to the middle for the arrows. All arrows must be fired from within the field and there’s no firing from the dead zone between sides. When a player is hit, they sit out. If a player catches an arrow they can bring one of their eliminated players back into the game. The game ends when either all team members are eliminated or time runs out.
The umpire will have a scorecard for each game and will record the points scored by either team. A match is made up of five games. If there are numerous teams then the event will be run as matches where the winning team moves through to the next round so there will be an eventual winner.
